Paul E. Berton Scholarship Fund
Eastablished by Gordan Hall, ’79 and John LoMedico, ’80 in 2010. The purpose of the Paul E. Berton scholarship fund is to
provide meritorious scholarship support to the members of the UNH men’s ski
team. The Director of UNH Intercollegiate Athletics, in consultation with the
head coach of the UNH ski team, shall be responsible for the selection of scholarship
recipients and for administering all awards from the fund. All awards will be
made in keeping with the policies of the Financial Aid Office and with the
specifications outlined in this document.

UNH Nordic Ski Team Scholarship Fund
Esatablished by Peter K. Chudy, ’87 in 2011. The purpose of the UNH Nordic Ski Team Scholarship Fund is
to prove meritorious scholarship support to members of the UNH Nordic ski team.
The director of Intercollegiate Athletics, in consultation with the Ski
Coordinator and Head Coach of the Nordic Ski Team, shall be responsible for the
selection of scholarship recipients and for administering all expenditures from
the fund. All scholarship awards will be
made in keep in with the policies of the financial aid office and with the
specifications outline in this document.

University of New Hampshire Ski Team Endowment
Established by Thomas P. Putnam in 2007. The purpose of the University of New Hampshire Ski Team Endowment is to provide
unrestricted support to the UNH ski team.
Income from the fund may be used for scholarships, coaches’ salaries,
equipment and other expenditures that would benefit the UNH ski team.
Distributions from the fund will be made at the discretion of the head coach/
ski coordinator, in consultation with the Director of UNH Intercollegiate
Athletics.

UNH Ski Team Alpine Scholarship Fund
Established by Grover B. Daniels, ’79 in 1999. The purpose of this fund is to provide a source of flexible
support for the UNH Ski Team. Examples of expenditures include, but are not
limited to, scholarships, equipment, and travel. It is the preference of the donor
that at least one scholarship be awarded each year, scholarship recipients must
be members of the UNH Ski Team. Financial need is not a factor.

UNH Ski Teams Endowed Fund
Established by the New Hampshire Ski Area Operators in 1986. The purpose of this fund is to provide a permanent support
base for the enhancement of the university’s intercollegiate ski teams. It is
the intention of the donors not to replace the university support to the teams
but to help provide the extra margin of flexible funds that are necessary to
prepare and equip competitive ski teams. Pursuant to the donors’ intent, income
earned shall not be used for staff salaries.
